A Warm Welcome to Inverness Ice Centre...
Set in a prime location close to the banks of the River Ness and in the heart of Inverness's many sporting facilities next to the main Leisure Complex and adjacent to the Bught Playing fields which is host to many of the citys outdoor activities including football, rugby and shinty.
The rink originally opened its doors to the public in 1967 and over the years has seen many changes but in 2004 with assistance from Sportscotland's lottery funding the facility is now owned fully by its members. 2016 has seen many changes at the Ice Centre, having secured funding of £685,000 the rink has re-opened its doors this October having benefitted from a complete ice plant replacement, new ice pad and a new barrier system, brining the faciltiy right into the 21st century.
The centre provides excellent facilities for enjoying Ice Sport all year round including a five rink ice arena for Curling, Ice Hockey and Ice Skating.
With easy access by road and only 15 minutes walk into the town centre, many of the town's Hotels, Guest Houses and Bed & Breakfast's are all within easy reach.
There is free car parking for users on site and full disabled access throughout.
The centre boasts a Lounge Bar enjoying a perfect view overlooking the Ice Pad, Changing Accomodation, Cafe Bar, Meeting Room and Event Facilities.
