Board Announcement 22nd December 2020
We write with heavy heart to advise that the Board has unanimously agreed to close the Inverness Ice Centre from Christmas Eve and it is not anticipated we will open again before the end of April but as always this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis by Board and management.
The forever changing circumstances and ongoing uncertainty, has created too many unanswered questions, including, when we will actually be able to re-open, the financial viability of re-opening and not to mention the on-going safety of visitors and staff. This all leaves the Ice Centre in a state of flux. With the information available to us and with Furlough still being paid, the most prudent, and sustainable course of action for us to take, is to close the Centre.
Thank you for your support and patience which allowed us to open safely and to enjoy the start to the season which so many other Rinks were unable to do. We will, of course, keep you informed of any developments.
Our best wishes for Christmas. Please enjoy your time with your families. Hopefully, we can bring better news early in the new year and we can all return to more normal times soon.
Stay, safe and well and compliments of the season.

Gordon Y Barron – Chief Executive
