We are going to offer improver sessions at the ice rink in the new year starting on:- THURSDAY 11TH JANUARY AT 2.30PM It is our intention to have this session available every week at the same time/day until the end of the season for curlers who wish to improve on their delivery, whether it be the traditional way or while using a stick.  This may lead on to include tactics, etiquette, sweeping etc if there is a need. There will be coaches and experienced curlers in attendance to support these sessions and the cost to curlers will be at practice ice…

The Scottish Curling Tour of Canada 2023 is holding a reunion in Inverness Ice Centre on the 20th October 2023. It is an open invitation as we want to share the great experience, and to raise awareness of our association with Canada and the significance of the oldest curling competition in the world ….the Strathcona Cup. In 4 years’ time Canada will be travelling to Scotland to try and win this prestigious event. We will need strong representation at every ice rink around the country to ensure Scotland wins the cup back in 2028.  

We’re going to have to postpone the Fundraising Group meeting scheduled for tonight, August 30th. The people who had indicated that they wish to attend have been emailed direct, but if you were thinking of coming along and hadn’t let me know, you won’t have received that message. Keep an eye out for a re-arranged date.

All club/match secretaries who have requested Ice time for 2023/24 have today been emailed to advise what their allocation is. If you have requested ice time, and haven’t received an email today, please get in touch ASAP : david@inverness-ice-centre.co.uk  

The following courses and workshops for coaches and umpires have so far been scheduled for the 2023-24 season. Registration for these will go live shortly on our website here where you will also find further information on costs, times, and registration details. More courses and workshops will be added throughout the season.
