Gateway Club Bonspiel

Congratulations to our winners of the 2023 Highland Gateway Bonspiel. Mark Hodges, Duncan Forbes (Skip), Natalie Cowan, Senga Dingwall Along with the trophy they went away with a 16yr old Tomintoul which was kindly donated by the manager Robert Nicholson. With the current vegetable shortage in the UK right now we unfortunately ran out off Neeps but proudly showing off their wooden spoons were the not so fortunate Owen, Ann Gibb (skip), Gil Forbes and James Yule.

Curlability Festival 2023

Scottish Curling is delighted to share with you an invitation to Curlability Festival 2023 at Kinross Ice Rink on Monday 20th March 2023, 12pm – 4.30pm This festival is an opportunity for those who have tried curling throughout the season to access an enjoyable and inclusive competition-style day, but it is also open to those who have not yet had the opportunity to have a go at our sport but are looking for an inclusive platform to do so. Does your Curling Club need new members?

This season, the Ice Centre has hosted five blocks of Try Curling sessions. The natural progression for those who discover the joys of curling is to join the Gateway Club, with a view to then possibly moving on to one of the other clubs that uses the Ice Centre. If your club is looking to recruit new members, then come along and meet our very enthusiastic new curlers in our Gateway Club, which boasts 38 members currently.
