Update to board of Directors

Following sixteen years of dedicated service on our Board, including seven years as Chairman, Michael Green has made the decision to step down from his role.

Everyone at IIC would like to express our sincere thanks to Michael for his outstanding commitment, leadership, and support over the years. His guidance in steering the Centre through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the financial pressures caused by soaring energy costs was invaluable.

Michael’s vision also led to the creation of Strictly Inverness, an initiative that has become an integral part of the Centre’s continued success. His legacy will continue to shape and strengthen IIC for many years to come.

We wish Michael every success and happiness in the future and thank him once again for his exceptional contribution to Inverness Ice Centre.

Current Board member and curler Sammy Clark has agreed to take on the role of Interim Chairperson while the search for a permanent Chair is underway.
