The Board is currently undertaking a review of curling and has formed a Working Group consisting of Neil Gillies, Brenda MacIntyre and Neil Gallacher, along with Iain Stewart (Curling Development Manager – Scottish Curling).

The Board is currently consulting with the 5 Provinces to consider options to improve the organisational structure for curling. Each Province has seen a decline in their numbers over the years and the Board is looking at an Ice Centre approach which will create a more competitive league structure for all levels, including new curlers.

It is also vital that we increase the number of curlers for the sport to have a long-term future, and an Ice Centre approach will provide the opportunities to implement innovative ways to encourage new and returning curlers to take up the sport.

It is planned to complete the review by June of this year.
