On Tuesday 30th January 2024 Inverness Ice Centre hosted the annual match between Area 13 and the RCCC ASC known as the Tamnavulin Trophy. It’s name came from the title sponsors Tamnavulin Single Malt Whisky. In recent years the sponsorship stopped and the competition was played in name only. We are now delighted to announce that going forward it shall be know as “The Cairn Trophy” courtesy of support from Stephen Rankin and the stunning new Cairn Distillery that can be found on the banks of the river Spey, on the outskirts of Grantown. We can report that Area 13 curlers successfully defended the trophy and won all three matches on super ice.

The winning team look forward to enjoying their CRN57 12yo Blended Malt Whisky that is exclusively available to those who visit the distillery.
