Probably the most common question we get asked on the phone is “Can I book for the Public Skating Sessions in advance and how much does it cost?”

Up till now, we’ve always had to say, “Sorry, we don’t have a booking system in place, you just need to turn up on the day and take your chances”

But, no more. We now have an online booking and payment system for our Public Skating sessions up and running.

Starting with the session this Sunday, December 5th, you can now book your admission tickets, skate hire and even Penguins in advance, so all you have to do is turn up knowing that your space is safe – just remember to bring along your e-ticket as your proof of purchase.

To make your booking, just go to our virtual ticket shop at the Ice Centre Ticket Shop and choose your session and tickets – everything is there from Adult admission to Family tickets. Payment is handled securely by our ticket partner, TicketSource, but if you forget to add skate hire, you can still do that when you get here.

We’ve been running the system quietly for a couple of days now and it looks like it works simply and easily, but if you find something doesn’t work for you, just use the contact form on our website to let us know and we’ll see if we can improve things.

At the moment, this booking system is only open for Public Skating Sessions, but in due course we hope to have similar systems in place for other activities that happen in the Ice Centre – we’ll let you know as they become available.
