Ice bookings – 2024-25

I’ve just sent an email to everyone who booked ice with us during the last season, inviting them to submit requests for ice for the 2024-25 season. Ice activities will re-start on 17th July with the first of our Summer Skating Camps. There will be a further Skating Camp starting on 21st August, with the Hockey Camp taking place from 30th July. In between those camps, the ice pad will be available for clubs to book, and we will have a few public skating sessions as well. The Curling season will start on Monday, 2nd September. Ice Sports Development Officer

Inverness Ice Centre Ltd, in partnership with Inverness Highlanders Ice Hockey Club with support from sportscotland through their Direct Club Investment funding, wish to appoint an Ice Sport Development Officer aimed at increasing participation in Ice Sports in Inverness. Full details of the job and how to apply are contained within the attached document. Extra Public Skating sessions

We have been able to add in some extra public skating sessions as follows: Friday 7th January, 2:30 – 4:00pm Friday 7th January, 4:30 – 6:00pm Saturday 8th January, 12:30 – 2:00pm Saturday 8th January, 2:30 – 4:00pm Saturday 8th January, 4:30 – 6:00pm Due to the current Covid restrictions, places at these sessions are extremely limited, and they must be booked in advance online through our ticket agency – www.ticketsource.co.uk/inverness-ice-centre  

Online booking for public skating sessions

Probably the most common question we get asked on the phone is “Can I book for the Public Skating Sessions in advance and how much does it cost?” Up till now, we’ve always had to say, “Sorry, we don’t have a booking system in place, you just need to turn up on the day and take your chances” But, no more. We now have an online booking and payment system for our Public Skating sessions up and running. It is two months now since we re-opened and all things considered things have gone well. We must thank the staff for the hard work and the many extra hours of cleaning, wiping, and fogging to keep us all safe and well.
