Friends of Inverness Ice Centre Terms and Conditions
On completing the application to join the Friends of Inverness Ice Centre Scheme you are agreeing to a 12-month contract to be renewed automatically at the 12-month anniversary unless you advise the Ice Centre otherwise.
The main aims of the Friend Scheme are to encourage and reward participation and for individuals and the clubs to benefit from the scheme.
Skating and Hockey Clubs will be received Friends Ice Fees on being able to demonstrate that 51% or more of their members have joined the Friends scheme.
Where you are a “Friend” (adult or junior) and are a member of more than 1 club, you are eligible to be included in the Friend numbers for each of the clubs towards their 51% threshold.
When you sign up to pay annually, you will be a Friend of the Scheme from the date set in your direct debit mandate and will automatically renew on the anniversary of the start date. You should allow 10 working days from the date of your application for your membership card to be activated and sent to you.
When you sign up to pay monthly, you will be a friend of the Scheme from the date set up in your direct debit mandate and will automatically renew on the same date in subsequent months. You should allow 10 working days from the date of your application for your membership card to be activated and sent to you.
We will endeavour to get your card to you as quickly as practical.
You will enjoy the benefits as soon as you receive you membership card which may before the first payment on the 10th of the following month. This will not apply to applications prior to the 1st January 2022.
There will be no fee to become a Friend of Inverness Ice Centre for anyone registered disabled. Please contact the Ice Centre Office to register.
We will only use the data you provide for the purposes of administering the Friends scheme.

Cancellations and Amendments
On completing the application to join the Friends of Inverness Ice Centre Scheme means you are agreeing to a one or twelve month contract based on your chosen payment frequency which will be renewed automatically at the one or twelve month anniversary unless you advise otherwise.
Please advise the Inverness Ice Centre in writing of your intention to cancel and return your membership card prior to your next payment date.
If you cancel your direct debit instruction, you will enjoy the benefits of being a Friend until the expiry date, which is the day before your next payment is due. No refunds will therefore be payable.
If you choose not to renew your membership on the renewal date, you must advise Inverness Ice Centre by emailing the address noted below no later than 10 working days before your renewal date. Failure to advise us in good time may result in your bank account being charged for a further annual or monthly subscription.

Payments
Monthly payments, and your Friendship, will commence on the earliest available banking day as determined by our payment provider, GoCardless
Annual payments will be collected directly from your bank account on the twelve month anniversary of your first payment.
